Next on the itinerary, an overnight cruise on Halong & Lan Ha Bays. This spot has been on my bucket list for decades, so I was very excited to finally get to experience this UNESCO beauty! Our weather was a bit mixed (but the rain did hold off), so you get a collection of blue sky and grey pictures…adding to the mystique!
Exploring the Bay
Our 24 hours on the boat went by in flash, with much of our time programmed with eating, swimming, kayaking and on the morning of the second day – a traditional boat ride to some local caves. Such an incredible experience! And just as quickly as we had arrived, it was time to head back to land and onto the next locations – Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) and the Mekong River Delta.
Oh this looks like such a great adventure! Can’t wait to see Saigon!
